The hotel is located in a tranquil area, surrounded by beautiful natural scenery. the traditional tatami rooms, although showing signs of age, offer an authentic Japanese experience. the new wing provides slightly better accommodations. Guests can enjoy the hot springs bath, a popular feature from the hotel's heyday.
Limited communication with English-speaking staff can be challenging for international guests.

Lovely Onsen and serene surroundings. Enjoyed the outdoor hot tub and the beautiful view of the mountains. the traditional Japanese breakfast was amazing, truly offered a taste of local cuisine. Great starting point for exploring the region and experience a slice of rural Japan.
Staff struggled with English, making communication challenging. the room had a very basic interior, could benefit from some updates.

We stayed at a traditional Japanese hotel during our Easter break and loved the experience! The room was spacious and came with a comfortable futon bed, and the staff was very friendly. We enjoyed the onsen hot spring bath, which was open late at night and early in the morning, and the kaiseki dinner was delicious. the hotel is located in a quiet and peaceful area surrounded by beautiful nature, which made for a relaxing and refreshing stay.
We did have a few issues during our stay. The hotel's Wi-Fi only worked in the lobby area, which was a bit inconvenient.
